Multi domain problems

I'm trying to setup a project with a couple of landing pages. In other words I want to redirect a user who wants to go to mylandingpage.com to mymainsite.com?page="xx".
I figured I could use extra startpages to do this. Wrong approach?

I configured the web.config like this:

    <host rootID="28" startPageID="29" multipleSites="true" dynamicSites="false">
      <sites>
        <add id="29" name="mymainsite.com"/>
        <add id="36" name="mylandingpage.com">
        ...
      </sites>
    </host>

Question1: wat does the dynamicSites property do?
2: What is the relationship between this configuration and the "host" field on a startpage?

I set those host fields to mymainsite.com etc. accordingly.

When I go to mylandingpage.com the page title changes to landingpage but the text is the same as the one on mymainsite.com.

Any ideas?

Hi,
1: It looks for content items in tree for nodes implementing ISitesSource and adds them to the configured sites.
2: The host field is the default implementation used with single site. The sites is used to map a host name to a start/root page and back again.

Is it possible that your problem is related to this one?
