Upload files in a different directory

Hi libardo,

Again, great job with N2, it makes wonder.

I just tried to change the upload directory (called "upload"...), to another one that I created at the same hierarchical level as "upload". I made some changes in web.config, but it doesn't work anymore. Could you give me some clues to help me changing the repertory ? It seems that I skipped some other changes I had to make in the code.

Thanks for all,

To change the upload directory you can update web.config with the excerpt below:

  <castle>
  ...
    <components>
      <component id="n2.editManager">
        <parameters>
          <UploadFolderUrl>~/MyCustomUploadFolder</UploadFolderUrl>
        </parameters>
      </component>
    </components>
  </castle>

If you post your config file maybe I can determine whats wrong.

Btw, sorry for not answering earlier. I've been offline travelling scotland. Please enjoy a photo of the house on the Macallan whiskey bottle: http://n2cms.com/upload/macallan.jpg
