Reviews for this release

I have been looking for some thing like this for a very long time. The documentation is the only thing that lets this product down you have to do a lot of self discovery. I am using the MVC example - You need VS2008SP1 and mvc installed to run the project. When you do go to /edit to get in the NS CMS system the user name and password is stored in the web config file in the root of the site.

A really good CMS and very easy to learn. If you're going to design an ASP.NET website, you should definetily try out this CMS. It might not be the best solution for enterprise level websites, where you need to share content between multiple branded sites. But if that's not what you're looking for, than this is what you want.

Please, someone give the creators a medal! Not only were they able to create an intuïtive CMS, both in terms of development as usability, they also deliver it with some decent documentation and excellent reference projects! It's almost unbelievable this is not a purely commercial project.

I really love the effort made developing this CMS. The PM did a great work. Anyway, the lack of good documentation make it unusable when you need to develop sth in a week. Cmon guys, improve your docs, and many people will come to u!

Professional I work a lot with EPiServer and have learned to appreciate its advantages. Among the CMS systems available as Open Source N2CMS is the best in my opinion! It is also quite similar to EPiServer :-). Appreciate it very much and use it for various hobby projects, N2CMS would also work very well for real projects ...

Very nice! I've been searching for a good and simple CMS system running on .NET for a long time and noticed this project very late. I've migrated my existing ASP.NET site to N2 in a couple of hours. A fresh approach for content mangement and very simple and intuitive to use (from a programmers perspective). Strongly typed and object oriented design and easily extended with own functionality.
