Closed Issue: Null pointer exception when using zone path [7045]

If you select ".." as the zone path on the root page you will get a null pointer exception in the method "Collections.ItemList GetItems()" in "N2.Web.UI.WebControls.Zone.cs".
Code that will fix this problem,

I'm providing a new language switcher.
This will be useful for users that want to integrate the cms with other components. Sometimes components allows you to specify some links. Since those links often can't be internationalized easily a possibility is to store the information about the language in a somewhat persistent structure like a session or user's cookies.

Hi Christian,
please could you explain me what's going on in the database when running the localization example?
It happens that after some number of content insertion/deletion when I look at the database I see that in the column name
of the table n2detail I start seeing strings with patterns that were not appearing before, example "TitleGERSWE" "ParentIDSWE". Is it a bug?

When we have multiple Multiple EditableChildren properties in one object type, and try to make collection from dropdown for both, error is thrown:

Multiple controls with the same ID 'd0' were found. FindControl requires that controls have unique IDs.
Multiple controls with the same ID 'ie0' were found. FindControl requires that controls have unique IDs.

The problem is in AddDeleteButton and AddItemEditor methods in ItemEditorList, lines:

b.ID = "d" + itemEditorIndex;
itemEditor.ID = "ie" + itemEditorIndex;

I make quick fix for me like this:
b.ID = this.ClientID + "del" + itemEditorIndex;
itemEditor.ID = this.ClientID + "ie" + itemEditorIndex;

... but just to note you for next versions ....

Hi,

it would be nice if the tinyMCE editor could be updated.
I have some problems with it, for instance applying formatting in IE6 in existing text (it is applied to the whole text rather than only the selection)...
A big list of fixes since the version in use http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/tinymce/changelog.txt.

The new trouble found on 1.3.3 is that, in the backend, the links for creating/editing a part are wrong, the link for creating a new item is: /edit/new.aspx?selected={CurrentItem.TemplateUrl}?page={CurrentItem.ID}&zoneName=zone name, i think it should be: http://isaacs.om.visrez.com/edit/new.aspx?selected={CurrentItem.Path}&zoneName=zone name.

Hi, attached the Dutch translation for version 1.3.3.

To install, extract to the root of your project (only the dutch translations are included in the .rar).
Please note, to have the editor show up in Dutch, modify the file \edit\js\tiny_mce\tiny_mce.js: change language:'en',docs_language:'en' to language:'nl',docs_language:'nl' (TWICE!)

Hello,

I am doing some work with a Non-profit and one of the things they would like their site to do is to is to require people to register to be able to view sections of the website. we want them to see the link and the be sent to a registration page if they do not have a user. but when i set n2 to do this the link to that page is removed form the menu even though i have set not to using: SecurityTrimmingEnabled="false" dose this work in the n2 sitemap provider. i have looked over the code and to me it should given that they are based on the .net base class.

In IE I get the hint "delete" when hovering the delete button-IMAGE instead of the right text.

The code is generated as follows:

The alt-attribute of the image should be filled with the same text als the title-attribute of the a?
Also, the title should be added to the img-tag for compatibility with FF (there is no hint on the image now).
