It's totally independent of how you want to build your site (MVC or Webforms based) and it doesn't require you to implement dozens of interfaces if you start from scratch. I've also tried Orchard, but I find N2 to be less abstract and allot easier to find entry points for custom code. Now implementing with a large amount of data that gets imported (300K objects and 100K img). The CMS doesn't really support this. In internal link lookups there's no way to search, no paging or search in the tree view, and slow because of filters after querying the database

The documentation is the only thing that lets this product down you have to do a lot of self discovery.

I am using the MVC example - You need VS2008SP1 and mvc installed to run the project. It might not be the best solution for enterprise level websites, where you need to share content between multiple branded sites.
