FileManagement > Upload folder in medium trust

Oct 16, 2008 at 6:07 AM
Hi all,

I'm running N2CMS in my local machine which is set to Medium Trust.
Everything works fine except for the File Management page, (url as: http://localhost:3105/edit/filemanagement/default.aspx) I dont see the upload folder to upload my images.
Very sure this is just the permission issue but dont know how to get around it.
If i take out the line <trust level="Medium"/> from the web.config then i see the upload folder as usual.

I tried to include upload path in web.config as following:
<edit>
      <installer checkInstallationStatus="true" />
      <uploadFolders>
        <add path="Upload"/>
      </uploadFolders>
</edit>

but still, no luck.

Has anyone have a similar issue and know how to fix it, please help.
Many thanks.

Cheers!

Not sure. You shouldn't need to configure uploadFolders at all.

What is the rest of the <n2> section and what version are you using?

Has any one been able to get FileManagement to work in medium trust. If so how?

You could try, in system.web:

<

identity impersonate ="true"/>

Just as a note the Impersonate did not work

But i have add the folder to my tree and that works but the list on FileManagement still does not work. I think it may have to do with the way the tree for the File Management is made with Site map provider. has any one written a version that uses the same method as the file folder content Item.
