Sort order allowed children

Aug 13, 2008 at 2:56 PM

if I am correct, allowedChildItems.Sort(); in the DefinitionManagerN2.Definitions.DefinitionManager.GetAllowedChildren sorts the list of allowed items to add accoring to type...
It would be nice if the sort could be done on Title, is there an option for this?

I think they are sorted by the highly neglected SortOrder property. I'll look into it.

I do use SortOrder very often...mainly for the menu's I usually build with a data-repeater. The customer can change the order with this in N2.
But, if SortOrder is used...where is the order declared?

This are the types of nodes you can create right? it's declared on the [Definition(] attribute.
