Enable globalisation

Jun 16, 2008 at 9:25 AM
"Globalization is not enabled. Update the web configuration file to enable it."

I tried to figure it out, but failed...
Where in the web.config should I put what?

Sorry, should have been more explicit. It's <globalization enabled="true" />

<globalization enabled="false" /> in the example?

I tried to get Globalisation to work based on the ExampleCS example...but no success.

Could you perhaps give an example or the steps to follow to get it to work?
I tried to extract the necessary code from the Templates but proved to be a bit difficult since there are a lot of levels of inheritance there. I kinda got stuck...

It involves implementing an interface on your start page class. You can look at the template's implementation.

Always easier than expected, but I do believe it was the interface ILanguage in N2.Templates.UI.Items.StartPage you wanted to refer to ?
Found it out with the hint anyway, thanks!

I'm going to give it a go, including a conversion of two sites from the old languages-structure to the new globalisation structure.
